Hi Janette. I don't know much about astrology, but I am a Taurus and can relate to the feeling lazy and stubborn part. I don't do the whole hustle thing and am learning to accept that in the last few years. I can be quite stubborn, but am usually very quietly stubborn :D I will just "stand there" instead of doing something more dramatic.

I wrote an article about it a couple years ago - https://www.introverts-unite.net/immortality-with-less-sword-fighting

It's hard to go slowly in this world sometimes. It often feels like I'm being left behind. But slow is more my natural pace so I've started allowing that to be ok, good even. It feels much more sustainable though I still do worry at times that it's going to come back and bite me at some point.

Great article - and YES, it's all about accepting who we are and how we like to operate.

Our culture uses such pejorative language to describe our preference for being grounded AF, and working smarter, not harder. And I love that we can go further than merely accepting ourselves - we can EMBRACE those qualities, when we see them stripped of cultural habits like the hustle.

My astrology trainer Kim Falconer once said to me, with my Taurus Rising, I would probably want to be a 'cave entrepreneur'. I heard myself say 'OMG that sounds like the PERFECT job...'.

And when I find ways to honour that, of course my business travels far more smoothly and my people find me.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OMG for me too! Love the idea of a cave entrepreneur.

We explored caves in my little community last year in April, as a metaphor to play with personal expansion. Instead of going up into the cosmos, we went deep down into the earth. Also embraced our introvert nature to withdraw into the comfort and sanctuary of a cave instead of seeing it as something we do that's wrong.

And personally I've felt like I retreated into a cave this past month after my dad broke his hip. I found it to be a relief and nurturing, though I had my struggles as well. It all felt scary at first, but I feel renewed and even more myself after.

Yes! The deep quiet spaces, for reflection and recharging and growth. Other signs haaaaate it, but it’s the Taurus happy place for sure.

And of course, the Sun sign and the Ascendant are only a tiny part of the story - which is why we get to tap into other superpowers, and why not all Taureans are identical clones.

And also how we overcome the apparent “blocks” which we THINK are limitations. For example - I’m a cave entrepreneur but I still have to market my stuff. So I lean into my 10th house Capricorn and share stuff on which I can be the “voice of authority”. It’s all cool stuff. 😁
